Can someone tell me about the different types of navel piercings?

I’ve heard that there are different types like barbell that heal faster but I don’t know the difference. Also was there a lot of pain involved in getting it pierced? How long did it take before you could take it out? Is there anything else you can put in the hold besides jewelry? I’ve heard that people put fishing wire in the holes to hide it.

I don’t think there is anything you can put in it to make it heal faster. Most barbells for navel piercings are the same. If you can take pain it wont hurt much, not that if would hurt even if you couldn’t take it. Just pinch the area above your navel (like the real piercing) and add in the slight pain of a needle, that’s about how much it would hurt. It take about 2 months to completely heal if you clean it properly. It also depends on how quickly you heal also. I don’t suggest putting in anything besides a barbell, that would just infect it, so don’t do it.
